Strategic weight distribution system

Improved flying distance       Improved maneuverability
Image       Image
#4 #5 #6 #7 #8       #9 #10 #11 AW SW

Adding tungsten nickel weights to the toe and heel boosts moment of inertia (Honma’s largest /#7). This design adds power to the sides to enhance flying distance. It also controls shaking and cuts down on loss of distance caused by shots hit off-center.
In addition, each number features different weight distribution
In a carry-boosting design change, 7g to the toe and 5g to the heel were added to numbers #4 - #8: more power in the toe translates to greater carry distance. The #9 - SW numbers feature weight evenly distributed to the right and left (5g), improving maneuverability thanks to shorter gravity point distance.

A forged steel face for the MG700

 *1 Convex surface
Featuring high-strength ES230 at the face, this club’s convex forged steel parts produce a mild touch when the head makes contact with the ball.

Unique weight distribution designs for Honma’s AW and SW wedges

*1 Thick construction at targeted areas
Sometimes the golfer needs to hit the ball out of the bunker or rough with the face open, and this strategic weight distribution design ensures a solid shot even when hit on the top of the face. The other numbers reduce blade thickness to a minimum. A low center of gravity engenders high trajectory.

For all head speeds

Honma offers three shafts for three different head speeds (the H/S 42-45 for faster head speeds, the H/S 38-42 for average head speeds, and the H/S 34-38 for slower head speeds). There’s one that’s perfect for you!

* Honma also offers ARMRQ UD shafts made to order.
